Water service line repair & replacement
The water service line is the pipe from the meter at the street to your house. When it fails you get low pressure, a soggy patch of lawn, or a water bill you can't explain. We diagnose first, then quote a repair or a full replacement so you can compare, and we coordinate with the utility so the shutoff is painless.
What we handle
- Locating the leak between the meter and the house
- Spot repairs where the line is otherwise sound
- Full service line replacement in PEX or copper
- Pressure regulator (PRV) testing and replacement
- Main shutoff valve replacement
- Coordination with the water utility
When to call

Three steps, no surprises
Call or request a callback
Describe the problem. For most calls we can tell you what we're looking at over the phone.

We confirm the number on site before any work starts. The quote you approve is the price you pay.
Done right, cleaned up
Boot covers, drop cloths, and a cleanup before we leave. Work done to code.
Will you have to dig up my yard?
Sometimes, but less than people expect. Spot repairs need a small excavation at the leak. For replacements we plan the route to minimize disturbance and put everything back when we're done.
Repair or replace?
If the line is copper or PEX and the leak is a single point, a repair is usually right. If it's galvanized or polybutylene, or it has failed before, a replacement stops you paying for the same problem twice. We quote both.
Who is responsible, me or the utility?
In most Snohomish County districts the utility owns the line up to and including the meter; the homeowner owns everything from the meter to the house. We can confirm with your district when we're on site.
